Hartley and Gate Crags as we walk along the track towards the church.
St Catherine's church.
The River Esk.
We follow the track from the church.
There are good views of Eskdale. Here looking towards Goat Crag.
Scafell seen through the trees.
Whin Rigg and Illgill Head.
The trees frame the view across the valley.
We spent a long time at Doctor Bridge whilst I played with my filters.
As we head back the sun is starting to disappear behind the fells.
Before it disappears completley the sun lights up Gate Crag.
